What is your ARL?

As Matt Hancock, the new Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, defines technology as one of his top priorities, he also acknowledges that the challenge of finding or inventing the technology was relatively small compared with the challenge of embedding and embracing it.

Based on our work supporting our range of members, particularly as part of the Stop & Go project,  the eHealth Cluster has developed the Adoption Readiness Level (ARL). This will sit alongside the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) that is currently widely used, to increase the chances of innovations being adopted in Social Care and Health, thus limiting wasted time and effort and increasing the outcomes for all stakeholders.

We are currently trialling this approach on the Liverpool 5G Testbed  – if you want to know more or check out your own ARL, contact us on info@ehealthcluster.org.uk
