The DISH project partners held our final partners consortium meeting from the 29th to 31st March 2022, around the Final Conference (see below), where everyone met up in Brussels for the last time. Unfortunately we and the rest of the UK Helix were unable to attend in person, but took part online. We reviewed the whole project, and the implementation of concept testing, as well as discussing how they could be presented and taken forward in the future. It was lovely to see everyone, and to make our goodbyes – maybe we’ll get a chance to work together again one day.
On Wednesday, 30 March 2022, DISH held its final conference ‘Bridging the digital gap: how the healthcare workforce can obtain innovative and digital skills’.
The conference was hosted by the European Health Management Association (EHMA), a member of the DISH consortium, and moderated by its Executive Director, Mr George Valiotis. It brought together project partners, academia, NGOs, policymakers and the public to discuss the work carried out by the project over the past three years, and had over 120 attendees. it was the perfect chance to reflect on the achievements of the project, lessons learnt, share case studies and policy recommendations to facilitate the uptake of the DISH methodology for the upskilling of the health workforce.
