The Department of Health’s Innovation, Excellence and Strategic Development Fund for 2015-16 is now open for applications. This is part of the Voluntary Sector Investment Programme, and provides funding from one to three years to support proposals in the health and care field.
The aims of the programme are to enable voluntary sector organisations to work in equal partnership with the DH, NHS and Social Care to help shape and deliver policies and programmes, for the benefit of the sector and improved health and well-being outcomes, and to improve VCSEs’ potential in the health, public health and social care landscape by increasing their capacity, boosting their abilities and helping them to become more sustainable.
